Ezequiel Diz

His artistic production is intimately linked with classical music and tango, also performing an intense musical analysis of the latter to enrich his own and unique aesthetics.

Editions

In the year 2002, the publisher Gerb. Stark Musikverlag Leipzig of Germany, began to publish his works, following an international competition of composition where he presented his Tango-Fuga Fragor Urbano. Also, the publishers Haus Der Musik, Uwe Henze, Spaeth / Schmid and Grahl & Nicklas, all European, included in their catalog their productions. Since then, his works are known and released in various countries, such as: Austria, USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Slovenia, Venezuela, Chile and Switzerland.

Discography

On a record level, he released Desde la Frontera, Fragor Urbano and recently Tangabile composed entirely of works of his own. Likewise, the album Música en la Universidad published by the National University of Rosario, includes his pieces Tango for solo piano and Fantasía Concertante for flute and piano.

His latest production, Tangabile, has the stellar participation of the bandoneonist and composer Daniel Binelli interpreting the Fantasía Tanguera N ° 10, a work composed especially for the occasion.

Official Gala of the Bicentennial

His orchestral piece Introducción y Tango has been programmed for the “Function of Official Gala of the Bicentennial” on May 25, 2010, organized by the Government of the Province of Santa Fe and the Municipality of Rosario.

Works imposed in competitions

He has been a juror in various national and international composition competitions, as well as his Fantasía Tanguera No. 8 for Viola and string orchestra has been chosen by the “New Docta International Music Festival” as a compulsory work in the field of viola in his “II New Docta contest” aimed at young performers. As well as his Rhapsodia for string orquestra and Oboe was the obligatory piece in the oboe soloist contest at the Juan de Dios Filiberto National Music Orchestra of the city of Buenos Aires.

Poliarmonía

In 2018, the publishing house of the National University of Rosario published his book Poliarmonía, an aesthetic possibility a kind of manual where an analytical instrument completely unusual in the world of the study of harmony is developed.

Ministry of Culture and Education | Municipality of Rosario

From 2015 to 2020 he was the coordinator and artistic programmer of the Live Music Arts space, which is dependent on the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario, which develops a large part of the activity related to chamber music in Rosario.

He currently works as a teacher at the Juan Bautista Massa Music School of the municipality of Rosario. Within the faculty space called F.AP.I.C. (Artistic training for cultural industries) in the specialty of Tango.

On the other hand, since 2009 he has held the position of Copyist in the Pcial Symphony Orchestra. De Rosario, from where he works on the reconstruction, revision and digitization of his historical sheet music archive.
